In 2012, Giorgio Armani recreated its successful Acqua di Gio, refining the original to create a more woody scent with a passionately masculine aroma. Acqua di Gio Essenza for men is a fresh, spicy, casual scent with citrus and floral accords throughout. It opens with top notes of calone, grapefruit, and water, creating a freshwater feel with a citrusy touch. Middle notes of jasmine and basil provide a floral tone with a slightly herbal edge. A base note of cedar gives the fragrance its woodsy scent.
